a draft is a mere draft!

I am still working on the first draft of the first chapter... come on asiah.. it is just a draft. so don't worry too much...

It will definitely change. Next step will be the literature review.. as for now, you see the problem/issue from a narrowed perspective.. the more you read... the more you will see others angle/perspective.. then along the way.. you may find a better scope and better way of doing the research...

InsyaAllah... cai yo! kia kaha ake!.. go asiah go!....hehehe...

slow progress...

Bismillah...

Sarah informed me that AUT PGB will meet by end of this month.. so by then hopefully I will receive the offer letter. The process seems tideous and time consuming. Faculty PGB's meeting last month asked the proposal was proof-read or not. So Andy suggested I met David... It's done and the proposal was submitted before the due date 5th Aug. I thought uni PGB meeting will be around this time.. hmm... I have to wait until the end of the month!

I aim for full registration by Jun 09... It seems I'm off scheduled and late enrolment means less time for that.. Actually I set the target since Andy will be on sebatical leave next year for 6 months, starting Jun 09 (I'm bit worried)... Hubby advises me to work closely with Philippa as much as possible... so Andy's absence will effect less...

I think I will apply the same method 'phd log'..hehehe... kalau rajin laaa...

On the mark...

Bismillah...

Alhamdulillah.. berkat doa hubby, parents, family and friends, I will get a scholarship. Today, Tuan Haji Ramli emailed me the offer letter, Thurday.. my proposal will me discussed in Faculty's meeting... Hope things will be smooth, ameen... Alhamdulillah Andy helped me a lot in preparing the proposal.

Now, I have the car (university), and the key (scholarship)... so I can start my journey now... wait a second.. I need to know the route, familiar with all the rules, road safety, well equipped with all necessary skills, informations, and resources, etc etc... most importantly, the direction, the destination... Where do I begin?... the research proposal.. online learning

So I need to plan the journey.. very well, indeed.

"If you fail to plan, you plan to fail" I remember this quotation but don't remember whose the owner...

hmm...

Journey : 3 years PhD
Route : Online Learning
Method : Qualitative case study
Skills required : time management, computer skills, information searching and retrieval, critical thinking, critical analysis, PR, counter arguement, public speaking, bla bla bla...

Bersempena Hari Ibu...

Bismillah...

Alhamdulillah, ahad lepas, kami sekeluarga spend time together jalan2, bersempena hari ibu... memula ke takapuna market (first time pegi nih). Round2 kat situ, ramai betul la ummat manusia, bersesak2 nak jalan pun payah. pulun pegang tangan anak2 nih, takut hilang sbb ada sorang tuh hilang anak dia.. so ramai la gak yg tolong2 carikan...

Tetiba nampak sorang nenek pakai baju kurung melayu bertudung proper.. memang sah ni orang melayu. so aku pun tegur la nenek tuh, rupanya cucu dia menantu untie fatimah & uncle aziz. nenek tuh tunggu kat satu gerai nih, sementara cucu dia dok cari brg lain.. tapi berani betul nenek tuh.. dan baik hati, siap doakan kami kat sini... lepas minta diri, kami tinggalkan takapuna market, menghala ke albany mega centre... dlm perjalanan, kami berbual lagi pasal nenek tuh... kami terfikir, nenek tu mesti bekas seorang guru... kerna ada 'aura' seorang guru, tuturkata, appearance.. entah benar atau tidak wallahu a'lam.

Then kami menghala ke Nandos (baru dibuka branch kat Albany)... hehe... jarang sekali kami makan kat luar kat nz nih, bole dibilang dgn tangan (bukan dgn jari tau), so bersempena hari ibu la nih... hubby mengajak kami sekeluarga makan special kat situ.. order pun special gitu... sebelum order tuh, hubby sempat menanya, halal ke tidak... isyk22 memang 100% halal kata casher kat situ.. (macam orang fiji gitu..tapi da lama dok nz kot, slang kiwi gitu...

Anak2 ku berselera betul makan.. bukan depa ajer...kami pun sama...hehe (Thanks a lot ler kat hubby...). Danial sempat tidur lagi sebelum menjamu selera.. hehe, penat kot berjalan2 kat Takapuna market... (dlm gambar tuh special order dari hubby for ummi...)

Lepas makan, kami ke westfield lak... puas gak la, anak2 ku berjalan2 dan main2 kat situ... Alhamdulillah ahad kami penuhi waktu bersama. Rancangan asal nak melawat abg Halim dapat baby baru (4th girl) tergendala sebab depa ada program lain. Selalu begitu kan.. kita hanya merancang tapi Allah sebaik2 Perancang.. dan Perancangan Dia mengatasi segala...

Oh ya, pagi tuh sempat hubby mengambil gambar anak2 kesayangan kami posing kat depan rumah baru... alahai... looking forward to have dina & ajeep staying together... insyaAllah, berkat kesabaran, moga semua urusan dipermudahkan Ilahi, Dina akan sampai jua..soon...

Petang tuh, dpt call kampung (selalu tak dpt sbb kadang2 telefon rumah tuh rosak, bengong sikit).. tapi agaknya faham nak call mak... alhamdulillah ok la pulak. Dpt la bercakap dgn abah sekejap, then cakap dgn mak, "selamat hari ibu" kuucapkan... suka mak dengar..."mak doakan yang baik2 aje semua kat sana..." syahdu gak...

Diam tak diam... dah seminggu berlalu... esok da nak weekend da balik. Weekdays memang penuh laa... pagi hubby ke uni, so aku dok uruskan makan pakai, kemas mana yg patut, then hantar humaira ke kindi. Alhamdulillah Ashraf da bole ke sekolah sendiri.. (ummi, I wanna go to school by myself... teringat kata2 dia minggu lepas lagi... so minggu nih memang dia da bole pegi balik sendiri...syukur yang amat). Bila hantar humaira, danial sure taknak balik sebab nak main kat kindi... so kena la stay kat situ.. sampai kul 2 or 2.30..dia da penat main, baru nak balik rumah...

Dlm 3.30 kami lunch sama... gitu gini, kul 4 lebih Ashraf gi ngaji lak. Malam turn aku lak ke uni, berbasikal lalu short cut (sekolah Ashraf).. stay few hours baru balik... hubby siap belikan baju kuning striking tuh.. biar kenderaan lain nampak aku memalam bawak basikal... hehe... terasa kecut gak kengkadang tuh... tapi demi mencapai impianku ini... kugagahi gak harungi dingin malam... grrr (sejuk maa..walaupun pakai glove & 3 lapis baju...). Hubby take over kids la pulak waktu mlm... so aku balik biasa anak2 da tidur semua, hubby pun kengkadang da tidur. Kesian gak kat hubby, moga segala pengorbanan mu diberkati Ilahi...

Concentrasi malam berbeza, ada masa idea datang, kadang2 tak datang sebab da penat... rasa bersalah pun ada, sebab tak manfaatkan sepenuhnya masa yang hubby&anak2 korbankan... Ya Allah..bantula hamba-mu ini... wahai badan, segarla.. wahai hati, tabahla.. wahai minda, bekerja la... wahai iman, pandula...

Lama tak post.. kan da panjang cerita... hehe... ok setakat ini dulu... perlu sambung keje nih... cam ada yang tak cukup aje lagi... (post siap jam 10 mlm)

Settled... not yet settled

Bismillah...

Alhamdulillah, we have dealt with the previous landlord, gave her key and she signed the bond application this afternoon. This morning, she was not very happy with the cleanliness of the house, blue tag and spots were everywhere on the walls... and the oven (I really forgot to clean the internal part of the oven!)... it was dirty. So she gave us few hours to re-clean the house... fuh!... another cleaning operation.

Takpela..alhamdulillah semua da settle.

Proposal is progressing. But need to add more 'makeup' on the research design. Kak Rose told us UKM will be coming to NZ for recruitment, early this June. (Thank la kak rose yea... tak sangka, kak rose pun baca blog saya yea..hehe. kak rose pun tulis blog kaa..meh la bg!!). Prof Jai said he wants to re-consider my application, wanna consider my experience...alhamdulillah..

So I'm still struggling now, alhamdulillah bole guna ofis suhaimi, payah gak nak study kat rumah... bukan apa, tak sampai hati tengok anak2. Aku pun takleh nak concentrate. Tadi pun ashraf dok kata.. naper umi keje lama hari nih... alahai.. kesian nyer anak2ku... sabar nak yea... esok kita main2 sama2.

of naval ship and Andy...

Bismillah...

Yesterday, 2 things happened, sightseeing KD Inderapure and meeting with Andy... The first was exciting, having the chance to be on the ship...alhamdulillah. And the later, hmm.. need to do more and more readings and thinking from now on...

Few things trigger me eventually...

* of the KD
- out of over 300 crews of the ship, there were only 3 ladies on board!...
- port charge may reach up to 2 million per day... wow!! (according to an informer)

* of the research, is it a trend in research nowadays... ?!!?
- use "I want to study..." instead of third party "The researcher.." or "The author.." in your paper (proposal or assignment)...
- conduct interview in culturally appropriate manner...

Looking forward

Bismillah...
Next week a meeting has been arranged between me, Andy and Philippa. Hope things gonna run smoothly. Aye... really looking forward for the meeting...

Kak Rose mailed me UPSI application form. hmmm... I have already sumbitted one last year, and even went through their interview at KLCC, a week after I set my feet back to tanahair... but the result was unsuccessful!...

Then kak Rose email 'vacancy at IIUM'... ahhrgh... not again! Don know whether I wanna go through the hasstle again or not.. months of waiting and hoping and it turned out to be 'stay wherever you are!'.

Once an offer of a place is in hand... I think I will make another round.... apply as many universities as possible.. hmmm ada hikmahnya tak proceed buat phd kat victoria university of wellington walaupun offer letter da dapat. yes maybe... sebab bila zura sembang2 ym dgn aku few weeks ago... bakal supervisor aku begitu begini, ditambah pengalaman kak eda dan peddy... mungkin jodoh aku memang dgn AUT. Moga Kau permudahkan segala urusan ku ini Ya Allah, moga ini yang terbaik untukku dan keluargaku...ameen

My dearie Dina is still waiting for offer letter from massey uni... bahagian dia pula berbeza cabarannya... InsyaAllah kak doakan jua semoga segala urusan dipermudahkan Ilahi...

Looking forward to welcome Dina & Ajeep to city of sails... looking forward for a new house too, though belum dapat lagi la... looking forward to play snow again at Mt Ruapehu (eh tetiba lak nih... hehe, saja bg isyarat ke bos... jom222)

When things get tough... hang on hope

Bismillah...

This coming 16th march, there will be a meeting between Malaysian education attache and postgraduate students of Auckland. I was informed that Prof Dato' Dr. Hassan Said will be coming... This will be a great opportunity for me to meet him and convey my intention to seek financial assistance to fund my studies.

Argh..!!! it's a very tough journey. The main reason of my application of SLAB being unsuccessful, I guess, is because of my CGPA for my degree. Tough it's a second class upper.. it's not so appealing. I was a mere medium achiever not scorer.. well generally very few A's.. lots of B's and few C's... and unfortunately one D and one F...

Although I can't change anything...bak kata pepatah nasi da jadi bubur.. now I feel very frustrated, annoyed and regret. And I want to share here reason of that D and F which had affected my CGPA and eventually (maybe) disqualify me for any SLAB...huuaaaa....

That D was for Islamic Ethic II. My lecturer was very pious and I admired him for his knowledge and humbleness. But Allah love him more and he passed away during the middle (or rather towards the end) of the semester. Our class was taken over by another lecturer, young but very cynical in his opinion and judgement. Some of my colleagues were well known students like Adi Setia (now ISTAC if not mistaken) , Hafiz (ABIM-IIUM president at that time) & Marsufah (now a lecturer at IIUM). This new lecturer used to conduct discussion among students, and we argued on so many fundamental belief of Islam related to Ethic. On many occasion, he used mainly reasoning to justify his arguments. Well.. it's alright and in fact Islam encourage his believer to reasoning but if there are clear statement in the Qur'an and authentic Hadith that something is forbidden, then it's forbidden. Most students including me used to have opposite opinion though! I remember one hot discussion on salah and good deeds. "Who will enter jannah, the one who perform his prayer regularly but performs no goods deeds, or someone who has many good deeds but he did not pray?". Most of us thought the first will enter jannah, provided that he really perform salah. We argued that salah is a main religious duty, a compulsion, one of the pillar of Islam. In one of hadith (sahih) also mention that salah will be the first question asked during Day of Judgement. In relation to good deeds, if one performs salah and is understanding the true meaning of salah.. he/she will not do any mischief and always try to be a good muslim and mukmin. However, the acceptance of one's salah can only be judged by Allah, not people. This lecturer said NO! it's purely our good deeds that will determine our future in the hereafter... (even if we do not perform salah?)There were so many debates... and most of the questions he posted in classes were in the final exam. I did exactly what I thought right, answering the questions based on Qur'an and Hadith... not merely to please this lecturer... and as a result..you know...'D'... Later it was rumoured that this lecturer was one of a kind like 'Amina Wadud'!

And for the F... it was English Language, level 4... (I'm not showing off...but I think my English is not too bad...) This English teacher Z**aw* was not happy with my performance in class. Instead of guiding and supporting me, he asked me to see him... and he was complaining this and that, the system, his salary bla bla bla (during the meeting). He even showed me his salary slip, believe me... and in short, he really unmotivated me, and I took his classes very lightly. In return, F... it was during short sem. so just imagine how my CGPA was affected! Later when I join IIUM as librarian, I met this Z*w**i few times. At a time, exactly after I parked hubby’s car near ITD, he cynically asked “So you own a car?” “yes, ….excuse me” (I used to avoid him) At last, he managed to stop and really talked to me. Well.. guess what was his initial reason for approaching me.. selling insurance! (Takaful National)… I had one already, I said… then he started his complaining.. again.. for not supporting Islamic insurance (although I took an Islamic insurance too)… I wouldn’t forget him…never…

Well.. that’s the sad part of my degree… I had flying colours for my master degree…. Although generally your cert is not everything… most universities in Malaysia are pointing your CGPA as main criteria prior to considering you any employment as tutor/lecturer… In an interview with UPSI (few months ago, in Malaysia), the interviewer asked me to explain why I got a ‘low’ result for my degree….! KUIM (USIM) was one of early universities that I approached for SLAB. I phoned them from NZ... "we consider only second class upper and CGPA above 3.0..." I argued mine was second class upper... but still NO! fullstop!... huaaaa... I'm hopeless in regards to my CGPA.... I hope, really hope that some universities will look at other areas...my curriculum activities, my experience, my current situation (temporary enrolment at AUT, plus availability of supervision) etc etc...

Though the path that I choose to make my dream come true is not easy, I believe there is still hope and I will work for it.. I envy those who can pursue their PhD, some even say 'I have to'.. not that 'I want to'... arghhh... I really want to do it, but I don have enough money...I remember when I did my master degree, I really wanted to write thesis so that it's going to be easier for me to conduct research at PhD level. Unfortunately, as recommended by lots of lecturers as well as the Head of Department at that time, I choosed non-thesis option. Why? First the recommendation, second, I wanted to finish in time (2 years) so that I could find a job and start helping my parents financially, and my younger sisters as well, Dina was doing her degree (later did her master) at USM and Alin her cert (and later diploma) at Polytechnic Port Dickson. Alhamdulillah I was offerred a job as librarian cum lecturer even before I finish the final exam. I still remember the exam was on saturday. On sunday, I rush back home to Muar and on monday I start my classes, teaching Pengajian Islam and Pengajian Am. Then after a semester working at Cosmopoint (Muar), I was offerred a permanent job at IIUM as librarian... Alhamdulillah. June 1st, 2000 marked a new episod of my career life. I love my entire life in IIUM for the job I did and for the reason that I met my hubby overthere...During my second year of serving IIUM, I applied for academic position at DLIS, IIUM. I attended the interview by the Kuliyyah, though the letter that they gave me indicate 'an informal interview' I did well, I guess, in the interview. I was even asked to conduct impromptu 'teaching' during the interview. But the proposed research area was not well prepared I think..Later, I got an info that my application was keep in view. I waited and waited... then time flew. after years of waiting, my family and I headed to Auckland in July 2005, my hubby is doing his PhD.. and here we are...

First year of staying here was rather busy, having new baby, Danial, when Humaira was only 14 months old. And I remember... only when Danial was 7 months that hubby start throwing the idea of doing PhD... and I was inspired and motivated. 'Please gimme sometime to think' I said... and it was early Ramadhan 2006 that I decided 'yes! I'll give a try'. So the first move was to prepare a good proposal... It was not easy though...I hang to hope... after few months (arghhh... why it take so long!) I manage to come up with a proposal, approached Prof Gary and he's willing to supervise my research. The next move is to find a fund or scholarship... hips of efforts indeed... then IIUM gave me hope... well, you know what happened...

This is indeed a very long post... an expressive of my thought and feeling, I guess... frustration, anger, regret and hope...and UTHM may be my promising hope... while other universities have turned me down... IIUM, KUIM, UPSI, UPNM... I don wanna say UTHM is my only hope since I'll work out something else if I could not get their scholarship, but I really hope they will offer me scholarship, ameen.. Dina told me that my application for UTHM has reached the registrar...

Please Allah help me go through this tough journey with courage, patience and hard work.
Hang on hope... and Jai yo!

Been a while...

Bismillah

Rasanya lama betul tak berblog... mmm...hari2 sebelum raya agak sibuk nak menyiapkan proposal. Isyk...proposal apa lagi? itu la.... dek kerana TAK (bukan nak) dapat meneruskan PhD kat wellington kerana tak dpt SLAB uia...kena ler mencari 'lubang lain' (walaupun offer letter PhD memang dah dpt, VUW bagi lama dah). So pulun ler buat proposal lain... nak buat kat AUT pulak, buat bidang lain sikit, so leh apply slab uni lain... target ITO lak nih... mudah2an ada rezeki kali ini.

Lepas Raya Aidiladha...kena sinus lak... rasanya, tahun lepas waktu nih gak ler kena. Masa tuh tak tahu, dah jumpa doktor baru confirm... cuma dah tahu ubatnyer... lega sikit coz tak sakit kepala macam dulu. Tuh pun gi gak ler majlis BBQ & Raya kat Cornwall Park ahad lepas raya tuh...

Few days later baru siap proposal. lega yang teramat sangat. Cuma sekarang nih masih menunggu feedback from Andy and ITO as well...masih lum ada lagi... bila dah free nih...selalu la nak spend masa dgn kids yg demand gi playground...all the time... lepas breakfast..leaps lunch... balik ngaji... asyik nak main...almaklum cuti sekolah, so the big bos (ahsraf) ajak...adik2 dia pun ikut ler... tambahan ashraf dah pandai berbasikal (without training wheels)...makin ler nak selalu gi playground...

kadang2, kami ke massey...dan suhaimi mengambil kesempatan belajar guna roller blade. (Eh...ke inline skates...tak sure ler pulak, hehe beli few dollars jer kat garage sale) Bukan main syok cik abe cuba...2-3 kali cuba...improving... aku cuba baru 2 kali..tuh pun pulun pegang cik abe... nak berdiri pun tak lepas...isyk222...

esok nak petik strawberry, insyAllah... yum yum yum...

Deep into the ocean

Bismillah...

Deciding on area of research is a thoughful exercise...indeed.

The proposal submitted to Victoria University of Wellington was on digital reference services. It's an interesting topic since no research has been done on this topic within the context of Malaysian environment. My research would be the first... Unfortunately, nobody* want to sponsor my research... 'nobody'* means local universities in Malaysia. The reason might be limited number of universities offering library science education. Opportunity to be LIS educator is very slim. Many school of library and information science (LIS) have transformed and integrated other disciplines such as IT, IS, etc so as to fulfill the changing demands of the work place. This is a universal phenomenon, i.e. it happens not only in Malaysia but also in other countries such as Australia. In Malaysia for example, UITM, the prioneer of LIS provider, made dramatical changes to the LIS school since more than a decade ago...

So education is my next choice. Well.. I want to amalgamate, if possible, the area of online and distance learning with the area of digital libraries, explore the trends and issues and propose solution to the entailing problems... Again, so far, I could not find any sponsors. But a potential sponsor will consider financing my study if I am going to incorporate into the study the area of technical and vocational education and training (TVET)...

Andy advised me not to concentrate on one single issue... Try to put various issues into the research... mmm..
Think and keep on thinking asiah... "You have only few months to prepare D1, so make full use of this time.. AUT does not charge you for this (alhamdulillah)... so you must prepare the proposal, work out the scholarship... and go ahead with your PhD... or else... you may not get the chance again...."

First day at AUT

Bismillah...

Early morning, wednesday... a very beautiful day... I make my way to AUT Akoranga... by bus... for the first time... What a feeling...very satisfying... yet... a bit worried since there are lots to do to prepare D1...mmm

Alhamdulillah kak Eda is around to help me... Andy was very charmed, as usual,... but please don't give me a short notice, he said... Sorry dear... I won't do that again... I met Rose, Xiau and ?? (tak ingat lak nama mamat nih)... my collegues-to-be...

well... hope everythings will work fine..ameen

AUT... beyond my expectation

Bismillah...

Alhamdulillah with kak Eda's help and later Rose's as well, I met Andy Begg and discuss the possiblility of doing phd at AUT. He is so fatherly and very nice. He even allowed my kids to stay in his room while we had a chat. Then we met Chanelle, International Student Officer, another nice fellow...wonderful people who make me feel at home... She even wish us Happy Merdeka Day... great!

And tonight... it's almost midnight... I'm still here in the ofis..sorting out things to find more opportunities to fund my PhD... InsyaAllah... my dream will come true... ameen

Silver lining....

Bismillah...

I'm now looking into th e possibilities of doing a PhD study at AUT or Massey University under the School of Education. Once accepted, or at least potential supervisor is confirmed, I'll apply for SLAB/SLAI from UPSI, UPNM and other universities...

InsyaAllah...

His Planning is above all...

Bismillah...

It's very disappointing to receive the news that my application for academic position is unsuccessful!.... decision on ASSB meeting yesterday, 22th August 2007.

"My verbal conversation with Pn Norhani says it is unsuccessful. The reason is that the Kulliyyah is not going to expand the Lib Info Sc....sorry about that.." ym from a friend today

...... :(

I feel very disappointed because I have worked this far... After the interview by IIUM delegation in Feb 2007, MSD send me a letter saying that my application is being considered subject to my status of securing a place in a recognized university... Alright... I work for it... and Alhamdulillah.. I received an offer for PhD study at Victoria University of Wellington few months later...then MSD said they need concent from KICT...

Alright... I waited... and after few emails and phone calls... I came to know recently that KICT has given a green light to my application (as I mentioned in my previous post)...

Though KICT says yes to my application... yet... ASSB decided a contrary decision... unsuccessful.

I really hope that Allah gives me the strength to encounter this challenge with courages and preseverance. I believe there must be hikmah behind all these. I do plan... and He too...but He is the best planner....

A door is closed... yet others are still open... InsyaAllah.. mine will be one of them... I'll work for it. Help me Allah through these....ameen

Resah menanti jawaban... yang mampu kulakukan tika ini ialah berserah segalanya kepada Tuhan yg esa. Moga ada sinar menanti di ufuk sana...agar impianku tercapai. Tuhan...moga aku pasrah menerima ketentuan-Mu. Yang pasti....andai bukan rezekiku kali ini..aku akan mencari ruang lain...walau ranjau penuh berduri...kan ku tabahkan hati, kuatkan semangat, tebalkan keyakinan bahawa impian ini pasti akan tercapai suatu hari nanti...ameen.

PhD Progress

Bismillah...

Alhamdulillah...after waiting for so long, my application for PhD has reached KICT. The new Dean has gone through it, and HOD as well. According to Kak Sa'i, she has resent the result to MSD.."so kalau MSD lambat bagi respon..bgth akak...." mmm... I hope by next week I will get the 'black & white' status of my application. Selagi tak dapat betul2...risau tau...

Got a homework from Fi, my USANA's mentor.... since 3 week ago... mmm... it's related to me, but seems very difficult to do it... "Camner nih bang..dulu pun kita pernah lalui stage nih... tak lepas gak... kali nih... isyk2 tak tahu la... but umi nak buat gak..at least utk umi sendiri..."

Digital library

Bismillah

I just start reading a book entitled 'How to build a digital library'. And I found that the software recommended in this book is called Greenstone Digital Library Software. Click here for details

Greenstone is a suite of software for building and distributing digital library collections. It provides a new way of organizing information and publishing it on the Internet or on CD-ROM. Greenstone is produced by the New Zealand Digital Library Project at the University of Waikato, and developed and distributed in cooperation with UNESCO and the Human Info NGO. It is open-source, multilingual software, issued under the terms of the GNU General Public License. Read the Greenstone Factsheet for more information.

I enjoy this manoeuvre....

Down my morale...

I got an email from MSD, that upon receiving the offer letter from VUW, they WILL forward my application for academic position to KICT...I thought they have already forwarded my application...Oh my thought...wrong! I 'll eventually wait for the result which may take sometimes...and the result is either...or...you know.....

If my application is successful...Alhamdulillah...I'll....bla bla bla...
but if otherwise...ooohhhhhh....

Oh Allah, I do plan...but You are The Best Planner...Please bestow upon me whichever decision that is best for me, my family and my parents (and the ummah as well)...Ameen...

good news and not so good news..

Alhamdulillah, I got a short reply from Head of DLIS. Though short...it is very meaningful...

However, I called MSD, the person in charge even asked me the content of the letter she sent to me few months ago (april 07)....so hubby helped me scan the letter. I tried to email it to the person in charge...unfortunately it can't go through (Error...email quota exceeded..)

hmmm... sabooo je la....
